James Perry MAHORNEY, 83, died in Ladoga on Monday afternoon. Many years ago Mr. MAHORNEY was in the undertaking and furniture business in Waveland in what is known as the Kritz store room. He was the son of Zachariah and Catherine Mahorney. -- transcribed by kbz

Ladoga – Funeral services were held today for James Perry Mahorney, aged 83, prominent retired business man of this community. Mr. Mahorney was in the drug business several years and at one time was an undertaker and furniture dealer at Waveland. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Lee Hayes, Pendleton; a son, James F. Mahorney, Gary; a brother, Dan Mahoney (sic) Ladoga and a sister, Mrs. Mary Rodman, Ladoga. - kbz
